All News
Written by www.articlepros.com
If you wanted to own a new car powered by a diesel engine or if you own one now, you no doubt appreciate the qualities this engine provides you with. More torque, better fuel economy, and easier maintenance are but a few of the attributes of owning diesel powered vehicles.

Tokyo 2007: Subaru G4e

The Subaru G4e is a triangular-bodied electric car concept with an aluminium chassis, powered by next-generation lithium-ion batteries stored under the floor.

Subaru claims the car would have a 125-mile range per charge, thanks to its light weight, aerodynamic shape and high-performance batteries. That's double the range of the R1e electric car jointly developed by Subaru and the Tokyo Electric Power Company.

A full recharge at home takes eight hours, but it's designed to also accept a 15-minute quick charge if you're running low.

Although it's small enough to fit into Japan's compact car class along with the Nissan Cube, Subaru claims there's room for five in the G4e.

First drive: Aston Martin V12 Vantage RS is 'best ever'
Latest News

full car.jpg Though few speak out in public, the motor industry is not short of those who say Aston Martin, for all its wonderful products and bulging order books, is going to find life hard now that it has returned to independent ownership some 17 years after the company was sold to Ford in an almost moribund condition.

TWO FINGERED SALUTE
Unsurprisingly, Aston Martin says otherwise. It points to its small size and independence as a good thing because now it can make its own choices and react much more swiftly than when all-important decisions had to be rubber-stamped by the ailing Detroit-based industrial leviathan.

Besides, a chunk of Aston Martin is still owned by Ford yet it remains free to form strategic alliances with whoever else it chooses to ensure its access to state of the art technology is retained.

Spy Shots: the Panamera... and it's not exactly pretty

It looks like either way it goes, Porsche is about to drop a bomb on the world with the Panamera. Either the car will look like the increasingly unadorned mules -- a rather unsightly melange of Boxster-Cayenne-Cayman cues -- and people will wonder "Um, was ist das?" Or in a reveal worthy of Criss Angel, the car will somehow get unrecognizably elegant by the time the production model is displayed in two years.

Tributes Pour In For Record Setting Skaife
Holden News
Written by www.holdenmotorsport.com
Code Legendary racing driver Jim Richards has congratulated the Holden Racing Team’s Mark Skaife on breaking one of Australian motorsport’s enduring milestones, his 38th round victory breaking the late Peter Brock’s record of 37 career Australian Touring Car Championship victories.
Skaife’s 38th career victory establishes him as arguably the most successful and prolific touring car driver in Australian motorsport, in a career that has included five Australian Touring Car Championships and five Bathurst 1000 victories.
Richards, recently retired from V8 ranks, holds the record for most Bathurst starts (35) and shared three of Skaife’s Bathurst 1000 victories.
A close friend, Richards said the milestone came as no surprise to him.
